I have three announcements to make today – all exciting in their own way. The first is about me and the second two are for you.
1) I have revamped my website and I am very pleased with the new fresh look following a photo shoot I had with a very talented photographer here in New Zealand. I would love to know what you think and suggestions are always welcome: www.strandsofmylife.com
2) I have listened to what you need through countless emails and comments on posts and I have created a new service for you – personalized low Fodmap meal plans. It is still in progress and will include a questionnaire you fill out to make sure the 7-day meal plan will be customized to suit your likes and dislikes, other allergies, health issues and lifestyle. This will be accompanied by other documents to make sure you implement the plan correctly and record your progress. This service will open in a few weeks but for now I would love you to check out this page HERE (www.ibsmealplans.com) to find out more and to register your interest. Those who register will receive a very special bonus if they proceed once the meal plans are launched.
3) I have discovered a wonderful gastroenterologist, Dr. Miechelle O’Brien, who fully understands IBS sufferers and sympathizes with us to the degree that she has created a variety of low Fodmap snack bars for us. She sent me a sampling of them all and I can tell you they are delicious, especially the pumpkin spice and lemon poppy ones. But she also has banana cinnamon and blueberry flavours. They are only $3 each so very affordable and just what you need to have handy in your bag or pocket in case hunger pangs hit you. Go to her website HERE to purchase them. I just want to make it clear that I don’t receive any financial compensation for telling you this so you can rest assured that my advice is from the heart. I will be interviewing her at the end of this week and will let you know when that interview is available.
I am on my second order of Trueself bars. I tried blueberry & lemon the first time. Blueberry was my favorite so when I reorder I got Blueberry again long with pumpkin spice.
Slipping one in a pocket when out at an event where I’m unsure there will be food I should eat calms me and leaves me the option of eating the snack bar. They are wonderful for that as they are not crumblely like granola bars.
Love this! I keep one in my bag as well – just in case. I interviewed Miechelle of TrueSelf Foods today and she is delightful.
