Suzanne- Day 2 of the program and I am already feeling amazing results. Thank you for this video. It is self assuring. With all the changes of my routine and my ideas of what was going on in my GI system all these years being changed to eating foods with ingredients that, “I recognize as foods…” and low Fodmap, my results are giving me a sense of hope. Maybe I can stop fighting my bowels and make peace with them through these foods that are good for my IBS GI system.
Making peace with our bowels is a good way of putting it. If we treat them as well as possible, they will reward us. Keep up the good work.
Hello Suzanne. have watched your video and you certainly look relaxed and well. I am one of your past clients about 4years ago now,,Margaret Sutherland and honestly I don’t know what I would have done without the knowledge and personal recipes you perscribed for me.. I still find this IBS challenging and most of the time have a grasp on it.. I am finding the older I get the more sensitive I am becoming.. But never mind I have to put my big girl pants on and get on with it. Unfortunately my youngest son has inherited my genes and runs a very stressful business with many staff. I can see him struggling with diet..He is becoming huge in size and continues to drink Coca Cola.Diet if you please..He will not listen to me but is finding out in the hardest way with his health..He cannot do dairy or alcohol and blood tested positive for celiac. he has reframed from all three. But still on the coke..I am worried sick for him and I am going to suggest he contacts you.. There seem to be a lot of young people out there suffering with food and have not got a cue where to begin to fix there lives.. Anyway Suzanne wish me luck in talking to my son and you may hear from him.
Again many thanks. Margaret Sutherland
Margaret, I remember you well. The low Fodmap diet is certainly not something we can let slip. It is a permanent diet – our final expanded version at least. I am very sorry to hear about your son. It is so difficult to talk diet to someone who doesn’t want to listen. He won’t listen until he is ready to. Often the worst person to try to tell a son what to do is his mother, of course. That is the case with my own son anyway. Coca cola is a drug and should be treated as such. It is incredible difficult for people to stop drinking it.
