The women on the low Fodmap coaching program which has just concluded have all had great results, thanks to their commitment and dedication to implementing everything that was asked of them. They are living proof that this program and the diet work. But I will let a few of them talk for themselves. This is what they have said:
Dawn
“My life with IBS was a daily struggle just to make it to the next day. Pain, medication, no answers and no hope that I would ever feel like a normal person again…. And then I met Suzanne online, purely by chance. It was one of the best things that could’ve happened. Here is someone who knows…. Someone like us that has been there and lived what we’ve lived. Someone who’s done the research and has the plan to help get your life back. I cannot stress enough how worth it this course has been and how much hope I now have that my future will be and can be kept pain free.“

“The Inspired Life Low Fodmap Coaching program was the solution I have been looking for ever since I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. After trying many fad diets that claim they cure digestive inflammation, starting another one was very daunting for me. Suzanne helped me through every step of the diet with endless support. For the first time in my life I am not in pain after every meal and I feel more energized and healthy than ever before! She taught me how to create balanced meal plans that fit my very busy lifestyle, provided me with some amazing recipes, and gave me tips for managing the stress that makes my digestive issues worse. I used to be afraid to eat so many foods and she showed me that I can have a lot more foods than I ever imagined. After 6 weeks I feel like I have all the weapons I need to tackle my digestive problems for the rest of my life! Suzanne’s knowledge on how to incorporate this diet into your life is invaluable and I couldn’t have done it without her.“

“The “Inspired Life” Low FODMAP 6 week coaching program was just what I needed to turn my life around and get my IBS under control, instead of the IBS controlling me. Suzanne’s program was very easy to follow and the recipes were delicious. The cadence of the training was great to learn the various methods other than eating that were involved in controlling the IBS. I realized during the program that my highly stressful lifestyle was causing me to trigger my IBS. I’ve learned through the relaxation and meditation to take more deep breaths throughout the day and listen to the relaxation session. Suzanne was very responsive to my questions throughout the program. I wish I had known what FODMAPs were many years ago to save myself years of pain and frustration! Thanks Suzanne!!“

The Recipe
Those on a low Fodmap diet are always looking for snacks, including me. So I created this dip for vegetable sticks or plain crisps with what I had in the fridge. It turned out pretty yummy and spiced up my usual Friday night treat of 1 glass of dry white wine and chips. Not the healthiest treat but it is now a routine to punctuate the end of the working week.
Actually, now I don’t do the brain-dead commute to work in an office every day, I don’t have those definitions any more in my life but it is still nice to acknowledge the end of the traditional week in some way. The truth is I don’t want to give up on this tradition even if I now work 7 days a week – and love it, by the way. I can take off time whenever I want and wander down to the beach or to the shops, and next month we are off on a cruise around the Baltic and I didn’t have to ask anyone for time off. And with that, I toast my new life of freedom doing what I love.
- ¼ cup of Greek yoghurt
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 spring onions - green part only
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped finely
- 6 drops of hot sauce
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt & pepper
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the spring onions chopped finely and the spices.
- Cook for 1 minute.
- Add all the ingredients together.
- Serve with chips or fresh vegetable sticks.

Friday night is still vedge-out night for us, and we haven’t worked in an office for about 20 years! Old habits die hard. This would be perfect for our Friday — thanks.

LOl. John, especially pleasurable habits die hard! Our Friday night is only a few hours away. You will have to wait a while longer for yours.

What a lovely looking dip with great flavours. I would love some! It’s excellent news that those we attended your course achieved their desired results xx
Suzanne Perazzini says
It is great news, Charlie. It is so encouraging for future groups.

Hi, I love your site and receiving your posts by email. Many thanks for all the information.
I am in the UK – can I ask please what you mean by hot sauce? Thinking if you meant chilli you would say chilli, so maybe it is chilli with something else?
Suzanne Perazzini says
I am glad you find my site useful, Tania. Hot sauce is Tabasco sauce. Is that something you have over there?
Tania says
Yes we have Tabasco, brilliant, thank-you and thank-you for your quick reply. I am looking forward to making the dip ☺
Suzanne Perazzini says
Great! Enjoy it.

Hi Suzanne
I’m completely new to Fodmapping, if that’s even a word! In a list I have from the IBS association here in the UK (www.ibsdiets.org) it lists Greek yoghurt as one of the no-nos. Is it actually okay to eat?
Thanks
Suzanne Perazzini says
If you are lactose intolerant, you will have to use lactose-free Greek yoghurt. Only 25% of those with a Fodmap problem, are lactose intolerant so I use lactose in my recipes. It is easy enough to substitute dairy products though more complex to do so with other high Fodmap foods.
Welcome to the world of Fodmapping – I think you have just coined a new word.
